Free Lessons
Winter Trails Day offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try cross country skiing for FREE, and to discover the great fitness and social benefits with this easy-to-learn winter sport. This free 1-hour clinic includes a lesson and rental equipment.
Time: Begins at 1pm. Clinic is 1-hour.
Only 16 spaces available! Advanced reservations are required. Sign up begins December 1, 2023. Please call the Cross Country Center to register, 888-968-7686 ext. 4150.

A lantern-lit ski and snowshoeing trek through some of Mackinac Island’s natural winter wonderland.
The trail begins at Greany Grove (corner of Arch Rock Road and Huron Road) with a bonfire and hot chocolate.
The trail is groomed, track set, lit by lanterns and approximately two miles long.
This is a free event sponsored by Mackinac State Historic Parks, Mackinac Island Community Foundation and the Mackinac Island Ski Club.
