The men's Infuzion II Pant is perfect for a cold weather run or milder days of XC skiing. Swift technology offers a softer, lighter fabric than 3SP, but retains the essential balance of insulation, breathability, moisture wicking and wind bloc. Swift is a great single layer mid-weight fabric for chilly, less extreme days, however when worn over light, wicking base layer (like Terramar Thermolator II), it can be used on almost any winter day. The Men's SYMMETRY Pant is definitely one of the nicest XC shell pants out there. It is a lightweight pant which offers protection from wind, rain and snow. It is made of Createx (100% polyester microfiber) and treated with DWR for water repellency and it has all the right features. It is unlined and can be worn as an outer layer over any pants or tights for added protection from the elements. What is 3SP and what makes it such a favorite?
Well, made of 85% polypropylene and 15% spandex, 3SP is the perfect cold weather fabric for high aerobic sports! One of the biggest features of 3SP is the fact that it is windproof up to 35 mph. It is breathable and moisture wicking. It is not laminated, so perspiration does not build up on the inside. The yarn used in the manufacture of 3SP is the most hydrophobic (water hating) yarn in the world, including naturals fibers. 3SP also dries very fast, even when soaking wet. It is 4 way stretch, with a super soft brushed interior, is durable, snag resistant and very quiet (no swishing sound while skiing). 3SP is definately the fabric of choice for the winter sports enthusiast.
