Western U.P. - January 6, 2008 SLEDFEST 2008 started out with great success with the USSA Sanctioned Ice Oval Snowmobile and Pro-Vintage Races at Gogebic County Fairgrounds with around 1200 in attendance. SledJam happens Thursday, Friday & Saturday- Jan 11 & 12 at Gogebic Country Fairgrounds. This is a sanctioned qualifying competition for the ESPN Winter X Games later this month in Colorado. One high-flying daredevil from this event will qualify. If you missed last weekend, Food, Fun, Bonfires, good stuff to buy, Music and much merriment will all happen again this coming weekend.
